Unlocking Opportunities: A Journey Through Kazakhstan's Business Landscape

Telehealth in Kazakhstan

In March, we embarked on an intensive business trip to Kazakhstan, a rapidly developing country in Central Asia. It was a whirlwind week filled with numerous high-level meetings and discussions, facilitated by our local Kazakh partner, Mr. Aralbay Kuzbakov, owner director of ArAiMed company.

Our engagements spanned across the cities of Astana, Kyzylorda, and Almaty, where we met with influential individuals and organizations. Notably, we had the privilege of meeting with the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Interior, the President of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Vice Governor of the Kyzylorda region, and the Minister of Health of the Kyzylorda region.

These meetings provided invaluable insights into the country's business landscape and paved the way for potential collaborations, like on a regional Telehealth call & service centre in the Kyzylorda region based on Spectator’s integrated and prove Telehealth platform communicating with our white label and customizable BiDiApp application for mobile devices in urban areas and our Tele-Assistance Room (TAR) solution for customers and patients in more remote/rural areas.

We visited our Partner, NazDarMed Clinic in Kyzylorda, which, being a pioneering healthcare provider, is poised to revolutionize the medical landscape in the region. In the presence of their highly skilled team of medical professionals, including doctors and nurses, we officially opened the new state-of-the-art Telehealth call & service centre facility. NazDarMed is commencing its remote patient services, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.

Leveraging its expertise in combination with cutting-edge technology, NazDarMed is well-positioned to deliver not only unparalleled remote healthcare services to its own customers and patients (B2C), but also on a business-to-business (B2B) basis, catering to the diverse needs of other clinics in the region. This strategic move not only expands NazDarMed's reach but also fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing of integrated Telehealth solutions within the healthcare community. Two other clinics in the Kyzylorda region are already being connected to NazDarMed’s call & service centre.

Presently, NazDarMed boasts apatient base of approximately 10,000 individuals, a testament to the trust and confidence the organization has garnered. However, the potential for growth is immense, as the region itself is home to over 700,000 citizens, presenting a vast untapped market for NazDarMed's innovative healthcare solutions, based on Spectator’s Telehealth technology.

Additionally, during our stay in Kazakhstan, we held discussions with the Directors of the Qazaqstan Investment Corporation, exploring areas of cooperation. We also had the opportunity to meet with the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Kazakhstan, strengthening international ties.

Furthermore, we engaged with the CEO and his team of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation in Almaty, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting children's causes, in particular autistic children. We could exchange our experiences in the past years from the Autism project in Morocco with our partner Enayasante there.

Our visit on the last day to the United Medical Tourism Expo in Almaty was particularly fruitful, as we met with several internationally operating hospitals and care organizations from various countries, interested in our Telehealth platform and BiDiApp for mobile devices, to support their customers and patients remotely, in particular during the pre- and post-surgery phase.

Moreover, we explored potential partnerships with an international operating tourist agency in Almaty, aiming to support Kazakh tourists and workers traveling abroad, through our Telehealth Platform and mobile application.

Overall, this intensive business trip to Kazakhstan proved to be a resounding success. We enforced existing partnerships, forged new connections, explored promising ventures, and gained further understanding of the country's actual business landscape, in particular regarding the Healthcare market.

Kazakhstan's strategic location, abundant resources, and drive for progress makes it an attractive destination for our international collaborations, and we look forward to capitalizing on the existing projects and new opportunities that lie ahead.
