ISO Certification Announcement
Spectator is proud to announce that it has received the ISO27001 accreditation. After an intensive process of almost 6 months, Spectator and its employees started working fully in accordance with the established standard in the field of information security. Obtaining the 27001 certification is the confirmation of a special achievement and brought the opportunity to gain experience in these certification processes and apply our knowledge directly to our customers.
With the introduction of AVG/ GDPR regulations, our IT professionals and staff saw the importance to not only implement the standard, but also to confirm the knowledge and experience in this area. Now that the certification has been achieved, it is important to retain this accreditation. Spectator will perform a recertification annually, with the aim to continuously improve our processes based on ISMS. Our Information Security Management System is specifically developed and used to maintain and improve information security policy within the Spectator company. Procedures, guidelines and detailed standards make it possible to always deliver reliable quality.
International Standard for Information Security
ISO 27001 (formally known as ISO/IEC 27001:2005) is a specification for an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation’s information risk management processes. Spectator’s customers and partners worldwide also experience major benefits from the ISO27001 certificate, as we can guarantee that the information security is aligned with the international standards.
